Noctem Group partnered with 1OAK — one of the most iconic nightclub brands in history — handling event production, promotions, sales, sponsorships and partnerships, and artist bookings from New York to Paris Fashion Week.
1OAK (One of a Kind) is one of the most successful nightclub operations in history. Founded in December 2007 by Ronnie Madra and Richie Akiva, the 6,000-square-foot Chelsea lounge held the title as the toughest door in New York for five consecutive years and generated over $250 million in lifetime revenue — a figure virtually unprecedented in the nightlife industry, where eight out of ten clubs fail in their first year.
Noctem Group served as a key partner to 1OAK, handling event production, event promotions, sales, sponsorships and partnerships, and artist bookings. The team operated from San Remo Cafe, a cafe, lounge, and restaurant at 201 Lafayette Street in SoHo, which also served as Noctem's base of operations — housing a showroom, social areas, conference room, music studio, and executive offices. San Remo Cafe anchored the nightlife operations and served as a collaboration hub for talent and brands.
1OAK hosted A-list celebrities including Jay-Z, Pharrell, Rihanna, Kate Hudson, Kanye West, Gigi Hadid, and Virgil Abloh, and expanded globally to LA, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Dubai, and the Maldives. From Coachella to Cannes, Met Gala pop-ups to Paris Fashion Week afterparties, the brand remained culturally relevant for over a decade.
The partnership also produced international activations, including a co-hosted Rihanna x Fenty pop-up afterparty during Paris Fashion Week on September 26, 2019 at 1OAK Paris, and an Axel Arigato x 1OAK afterparty at L'Arc Paris on February 27, 2020, as well as a 1OAK x Stockholm takeover during Lollapalooza.
